WACLT
WACLT is a nonpolitical, nonprofit academic and educational organization. The organization shall be known as the Wisconsin Association of Chinese Language Teachers in English and 威斯康星州中文教師協會/威斯康星州中文教师协会 in Chinese. It is abbreviated in English as WACLT. The purpose of the WACLT is to formalize an organization through which Chinese language teachers at all educational levels can share experiences and exchange views. It also serves as a resource network for Chinese language teachers. WACLT structures and bylaws modeled after those of WAFLT (Wisconsin Association For Language Teachers).
Mission
Promote quality Chinese language teaching at all education levels in the state of Wisconsin.
Conduct professional development for Chinese teachers in both language teaching and cultural awareness.

Membership
The WACLT membership is open to any applicant who—
· is engaged in teaching Chinese or interested in teaching Chinese; · subscribes to the purposes and mission as set out in Article II; and pays the appropriate membership dues to be members of WAFLT (the Wisconsin Association for Language Teaching). Members are obliged to pay membership dues to WAFLT, as well as to WACLT. WACLT annual dues will be $5 per calendar year.
